What you can do with these files.
Plain language first, then the formal version. If the two ever seem to disagree, we meant the plain one.
You can
- Print any page as many times as you like, forever
- Print for everyone in your own household
- Print at home, at a copy shop, or at an online print service
- Write on them, cut them up, laminate them, adapt them for your own use
- Show your filled-in pages online, in classes you take, or at your guild
- Keep using them if you stop buying anything else from us
You can't
- Share, email, upload or resell the PDF files themselves
- Print copies to sell, or to hand out at a workshop you charge for
- Include the pages in a product, kit or membership you sell
- Claim the designs, wording or system as your own
- Use the pages or their text to train a machine-learning model
If you want to use these with a group — a guild, a class, a shop, a studio — get in touch. Group licences exist and they're reasonably priced.
Formal terms
On purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use the Loose Ends files for personal, non-commercial use within a single household. Copyright in the text, layouts, systems and designs remains with Loose Ends. Finished craft objects you make while using these tools are entirely yours — the licence covers the files, never your work.
