The short version

We collect your email address so we can send you the files you bought. We use Shopify to take payment and Meta's advertising tools to run ads. We don't sell your data, and we never see your card number.

What we collect

When you buy: your name, email address, billing address and what you ordered. Shopify processes the payment and holds the card details — we only see the last four digits and the card type.

When you visit: standard web analytics, including pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you're on.

If you email us: whatever you choose to put in the email.

Advertising and tracking

We advertise on Meta platforms, which means this site carries the Meta Pixel. It records that you visited and whether you bought, so we can measure which ads work and show ads to people like you. You can limit this in your Meta ad settings, through your browser's tracking protection, or with any standard ad blocker. The site works perfectly well with all of those turned on.

Cookies

Shopify sets cookies needed to run the cart and checkout. Analytics and the Meta Pixel set cookies that measure traffic and advertising. You can clear or block all of them in your browser — nothing on this site breaks if you do.

Who else sees your data

Shopify, for payment and order processing. Our email provider, to send you the files and any receipts. Meta, for advertising measurement as described above. That's the whole list. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. If you ask us to delete your email address from our list, we do it the same week.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or tell us to stop emailing you. Email hello@looseends.shop and we'll act on it within thirty days. If you're in California, that includes the right to know what we've collected and the right to delete it; we don't sell personal information, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date.
